Mr. Donavanik is the vice chairman and executive committee chairman of Dusit Thani Public Company Limited (the “Dusit”), one of Asia’s leading hospitality groups with a portfolio of six brands across 14 countries. The Dusit also owns and operates the Dusit Thani College, a private educational institution offering culinary and hospitality management programmes; and the Le Cordon Bleu Dusit Culinary School, in partnership with the famous Paris-based institute.

Mr. Donavanik served as director and chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce’s Tourism Committee, and also as the head of the Private Sector Team of the Tourism & MICE Promotion Working Group from the period of March 2015 to 2021. He is also a board member of Kasikorn Bank, a position he has held since April 2017.

Throughout his career, Mr. Donavanik has held many leadership positions in both the public and private sectors. He served many terms as president for both the Thai Hotels Association (THA) and the ASEAN Hotel and Restaurant Association (AHRA). He was formerly vice chairman of both the Philippines Hoteliers Council and the Dusit Thani College Council. Mr. Donavanik was appointed as a member of the National Legislative Assembly of Thailand (NLA) in 2006.

Mr. Donavanik has an MBA degree from Boston University.
