Mr. Chanin is the Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Executive Committee of Dusit Thani Public Company Limited, one of Asia’s leading hospitality groups with a portfolio under six brands across 14 countries. Dusit also owns and operates Dusit Thani College, a private educational institution offering Culinary and Hospitality Management programmes; and the Le Cordon Bleu Dusit Culinary School, in partnership with the famous Paris-based institute.

Since March 2015, Mr. Chanin has served as Director and Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce’s Tourism Committee, and also Head of the Private Sector Team of the Tourism & MICE Promotion Working Group (D3), under the Public-Private Collaborative Committee. He is also a board member of Kasikorn Bank – a position he has held since April 2017.

Throughout his career, Mr. Chanin has held many leadership positions in both the public and private sector. He served many terms as President for both the Thai Hotels Association (THA) and the ASEAN Hotel and Restaurant Association (AHRA), and was formerly Vice Chairman of both Philippines Hoteliers and the Dusit Thani College Council. Mr. Chanin was appointed a member of the National Legislative Assembly of Thailand (NLA) in 2006. He has also served as the director of The Siam Pulp and Paper Public Company Limited.

He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Boston University.
