As an Operations Trainee from time to time selectively.\u00a0 Operations trainees will gain valuable exposure to the inner workings of a special situations fund, particularly in transactions covering Southeast Asia and Greater China and a solid foundation and hands-on experience in fund operations, trade support, and portfolio administration<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in daily operations tasks, including fund accounting, valuation, trade confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with various teams and external service providers (i.e., custodians, brokers, fund administrators, auditors, lawyers, etc) to ensure accurate and timely processing of fund transactions and related documentation<\/li>\n<li>Support the portfolio management team in monitoring and tracking investments, including updating investment records and portfolio reporting<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the preparation of fund performance reports, investor communications, and regulatory filings<\/li>\n<li>Conduct research and analysis on operational best practices to identify opportunities for process improvements related to marketing, tax, legal, and compliance issues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information System, Engineering \u00a0or related disciplines preferred<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.\u00a0 Interested in investment accounting , valuation and related issues in operations, tax and regulations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment<\/li>\n<li>Motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities<\/li>\n<li>Articulate in English and Mandarin<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong computing skills with experience in programming and\/or database are strongly preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p class=\"excerpt\">Graduate Trainee (Operations) Position Overview: We seek highly proactive and motivated Operations trainees to join our team.
