We manage funds in special situations strategy with AUM over two billion US dollars focusing in private investments in Southeast Asia and Greater China.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Overview:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are currently seeking a highly proactive and motivated Operations trainee to join our team. As an Operations Trainee, you will gain valuable exposure to the inner workings of a special situations fund, particularly in transactions covering Southeast Asia and Greater China. This role will provide you with a solid foundation and hands-on experience in fund operations, trade support, and portfolio administration<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in daily operations tasks, including fund accounting, valuation, trade confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with various teams and external service providers (i.e., custodians, brokers, fund administrators, auditors, lawyers, etc) to ensure accurate and timely processing of fund transactions and related documentation<\/li>\n<li>Support the portfolio management team in monitoring and tracking investments, including updating investment records and portfolio reporting<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the preparation of fund performance reports, investor communications, and regulatory filings<\/li>\n<li>Conduct research and analysis on operational best practices to identify opportunities for process improvements related to marketing, tax, legal, and compliance issues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or related disciplines preferred<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, database, and web applications. Programming expertise is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment<\/li>\n<li>Motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities<\/li>\n<li>Articulate in English and Mandarin<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, along with a dynamic work environment that fosters professional growth and development.
